How to Make Mission Furniture

welcome!

How to Make Mission Furniture is a series of three handbooks with directions, which include drawings and photographs, written by H.H. Windsor in 1909, 1910, and 1912 on how to make/build Mission Furniture.  The introductions state that these books are "written so you can understand it..."

Furthermore, "The texts and illustrations have been prepared expressly for this Handbook Series, by experts; and are up-to-date..."

Lastly, please note that ..."The dimensions given in the stock list contained in the description of each piece of furniture illustrated in this book call for material mill-planed, sanded and cut to length. If the workman desires to have a complete home-made article, allowance must be made in the dimensions for planning and squaring the pieces. S-4-S and S-2-S are abbreviations for surface four sides and surface two sides."

The three handbooks are listed on the Sidebar as Parts I, II, and III. Let these take you to each book's many wonderful Mission Furniture plans!

These books are in the public domain and presented here for you in their entirety.  It is exciting to present all of these plans for Free!  Please respect the time and work put into making this site possible.
